St Marks is undoubtably one of the most beautiful hikes in Vancouver (or indeed the world) but is usually really busy. Especially as the space at the top is limited so everyone is in everyone elses pictures.
In July 2020, in response to COVID-19 the BC gov introduced a day pass system. So I decided to take advantage of this (stopping people being more spontaneous on hikes) and do an evening hike on Thursday evening when Sam was work. I was joined by Russ who mentioned he was keen to hike.
We flew up in 1hr 20 and spent an hour at the top admiring the sunset before heading back (with headlamps at the end). A great hike and one I will try and do each year.
This is probably my favourite photo I have ever edited (taken by Russ)
